Dear Jeff.... about adding

Picking a bottom is tough. I assume that given the mid-December CFO conference call, the earnings worry factors were put to rest. NOVL goes up with earnings,

What that means for me is a drop (with the market) of no lower than 26-28 in the worst of NASDAQ collapses. Meaning that if Greenspan raises rates 1/2pt, in a sharp one day correction, NOVL might break resistance down one level or so from here.

The time to have added to your position, and averaged down was last Fall. NOVL has done really well in the current market. Far better than anyone could hope for given what is happening to the techs in general. NOVL has resisted the NASDAQ slide. IT has really done well.

You may get another buying opportunity with Greenspan and then again this may be it.

==============

For a long term holder of NOVL either buying a put and selling a call or if you are really bullish, selling a leap call is a strategy. IT lowers your cost basis and gives you some money in your pocket.If you look back you will find many posts here on that subject.

Best regards.
