Java, Jini: list of companies within Bluetooth possibility.
Thanks you comment URLMAN. Your method to dig old files is the only possible way to search gold, besides raw insider info here.
There's been silent in Jini-front lately. I personally don't much understand the Jini-technology.
Clay Douglas (..."On the other hand, a communications interface, based on infrared (IR) or RF, can be added to almost any device to allow it to communicate with a separate device-to a universal, handheld, Personal Graphical Interface (PGI).")
seems to share same vision as Nokia did in Wired lately: Personal *-something (personal data environment, personal operating space, personal graphical interface, -like jargon).
You need internet, fast Bluetooth connectivity and lots of flashmemory to run all these Jetsons-watches.
I don't know about that Patriots Java-prozessor, but there are 5 java-prozessors in market. Mostly for industrial automation, but for encryption electronic identity data in smartcards etc too. But talking in consumer context allways makes a stock fly. The list:

First thing you see here advertisements: "We are the leading provider of 100% Java-based low-power embedded system technologies that make your datahat fly..."
A 'Java-prozessor' runs often by other embedded-os like: VxWorks, QNX, OS-9, pSOS, VRTX, List:
