Unlikely. Developmentcyckles are long like 2-4 years.
(We aren't sure about the switching costs - if Ericcson, for example, decided to switch to a competitor, how painful, costly, time-consuming would it be for them? )

There is possibility under development to stack Bluetooth connectivity kit inside cellphones mainprozessor.
Then you don't need an other, second Bluetooth-module with rf-chip etc in a cellphone.

Main system could run all data both pcs/gsm and bluetooth it's duo/tres/quadros/+band phone indeed then...

These developments is (I believe ?!) done in deep consensus inside symbion-alliance (ericy, nokia, psion, arm etc)
