Kailash, i fully agree. we'll see what the next bounce looks like...i.e. if the NAZ follows the Nikkei script. in any event, there will certainly be an opportunity to cover shorts and put them back on again at a higher level.
one element of uncertainty is what European fund managers decide to do on Monday. if several big funds push the sell button things could get ugly fast. remember, in '87 only 3% of the invested capital actually left the market and switched into bonds.
the truth is, with this mania you never really know...it could unwind in the blink of an eye, or try to make a last stand.
in any event, the NAZ gave me the blow-off move i was looking for during November and December, and that may have been all that was needed.
