So the TOU makes no distinction between public figures and private figures? However there is some rank hypocrisy going on here- as the new people on the feelies thread say all kinds of insulting things about Clinton- MUCH worse than the mere ferret epithet- and I am SURE you would agree that feelies is not a per se Clinton thread. And yet- nothing is done. So I would think ferret is a pretty tame thing to say about a public figure EVEN on the ever so constructive CNBS thread. You appear to ME to be really inconsistent. When REAL people on SI (who are not public figures) get insulted you do nothing. When some TV personality gets called a ferret you get your shorts in a twist. That just seems completely WRONG to me. And I would guess it isn't just me.
