Darrell I do not disagree with your or Dennis Nicks' views please see my 4161 post.

Re: "Please re-read every press release the company has put out this year. Please read the latest SEC report. Please re-read the last 200 posts on this message board. If you don't see the excellent opportunity that awaits us in 2000 and beyond, I suggest that you invest in another opportunity."

On the contrary not only do I see the excellent opportunities but I want management to be more aggressive in advertising them, ESPECIALLY AT THEIR QUARTERLY REPORTS.

And I would like if management could show the investment public at large that they are taking more aggressive actions in getting to the quick and dirty resolutions of the old Borland/Inprise way of doing business. I.e. the unnecessary write-downs and property cost! Is there anything wrong with that? Should I have to sell all my holdings and run because they (management) are not taking enough steps to waylay their excessive unnecessary costs or at least taking the time at a quarterly report to explain why they can not at this time?

I don't buy into the get out and go elsewhere if you don't like that way things are going. I believe if I see an easier way of doing things then I could at least ask if they can be put into effect and expect an explanation why there wrong.

I think they should of said something about those properties and a plan to resolve them in the near future with the write-down reported. They didn't seem to be as forthcoming as they could have and IMO it hurt the stock. And when it's a seemingly old attitude one gets tired of seeing it..They made it look like all their efforts with bringing in Dale Fuller (who I have no problem with) were only half steps at resolving Inprise/Borland's problems.

We need to get a fresh new completed 100% cleaning out effect to get this wonderful company back on the high road. Old habits and impression die hard. Lots of people who I talk to about Inprise have that; "Oh! isn't that the old tools company Borland? Most of the time I get an OH Yeah! lack of interest attitude after explaining the new issues. The company needs to dispel this attitude and they need to start with positive action in that albatross real estate.
