Rocca Buys Another Bhat Brainwave!
Once again Chicago teenage programming genius Rishi Bhat has teamed up with
Rocca Resources Ltd. with a superbly conceived online Internet productivity
tool, MYeDESK.
Built to handle group communications and time and data management for both
private and corporate computer users, MYeDESK will become another major
building block in Rocca's suite of Internet software products.
MYeDESK is a web-based service, which allows a small company or individual
users, to use the Internet as its primary corporate network, as well as
offering the private individual a fast, dependable way to access his or her
desk top from any Internet-connected computer.
Armed with a PC and an Internet connection, a small business user can now
tap into a fully-secured, network environment, specifically geared to
generate responsive, functional solutions for day-to-day needs and problems.
MYeDESK users can now rely on an array of services, from e-mail, one step
document publishing and posting and online directory assistance, to virtual
meetings and electronic forums. As other needs are identified, new
solutions will be added by the Rocca in-house technical team with the
assistance of Rishi Bhat.
MYeDESK plans to offer a developer's toolkit, allowing for the rapid
development of accessories by independent software developers, to be
marketed through MYeDESK on a revenue-sharing basis.
In September 1999, Rocca Resources Ltd. acquired the Internet Privacy
software company SiegeSoft Systems from Rishi Bhat and Antonio Guillen.
MYeDESK.com is a second product by Rishi and was developed in partnership
with another youthful prodigy, Chaitanya Mehra. As Chaitanya is a resident
of Los Angeles, California, the program was developed in combination with
Rishi for the Internet through the Internet; a perfect example of the Web's
versatility and functionality.
While beta testing continues, site access will be restricted to those who
took part in the alpha testing stage. As soon as this is completed, access
will be open to all.
MYeDESK's close competitor, Hot Office, offers similar services in the
$19.95 Cdn range per user per month.
