I cannot believe the media. Dow plummets on fear of 1/4 point interest hike? This was already figured in. . . now we are set for 1/2 point and will relief rally on 1/4. And everyone already knows that we will see 3 1/4 hikes this year. So what? The world economy is totally different now than it was in the 70's and 80's.

And I am to believe that tech stocks and internets are headed lower? I am to believe that Lucent, Intel, Yahoo, Broadcom and JDUniphase are destined for mediocrity?

No way! . . . just goes to show the uselessness of some media sources.

Techs will continue to lead the markets through 2000 and beyond . . .as they continue to demonstrate the highest percentage of earnings growth and net margins. . . while sales projections are off the scale. The internet is a long way from reaching a 10 percent market worldwide. . . and unless we find a reason to stop advancing technologically, I see no reason to think that tech stocks won't drive the markets for years to come. . . .same as industrial stocks did the turn of the last century.

The world is changing before our eyes. . . .likewise, the markets are changing . . . . with or without us.
