I thought I would let you know that my friend's mother with fibermyalgia just had surgery... excerpt from email:
<<She found a neurologist, who found that her vertabrae in her neck were
crushing her spinal cord, which was causing a lot of her problems. The
surgery was a great success, we think but the rehab is very very slow.
Today, marks two weeks since the surgery but she still can't sit up very
well. She gets up and walks very little. The doctor says that is normal. It
may be six weeks before she can really start to take care of herself. It's
pretty hard to be this far away and this busy. But hopefully, she will be
better than ever when the recovery process is over.>>
looks like you were onto something when you questioned whether this is related to spinal injury!
