E - <AMD also has new processes (Hip7L, Hip8L etc.) planned for Athlon and I am sure they will try to work in core enhancements and tweaks as they go along. (in addition to on die cache and 266Mhz bus etc.) You state that Willamette will be ahead in MHz, Can you give me your opinion on how AMD's Athlon enhancements will effect it's performance relative to Willamette. In your opinion will AMD remain competetive with a slight disadvantage or will the race be over and Willamette the clear winner?> I understand about the MOT process generations, as well as Mustang. But I have no direct knowledge on what these things will bring to the table, only guesses. Honestly, I'd be happy (given my bias) with Intel just being in the lead EOY. That's my bet with kash.
