Well, so much for that 45 degree up channel I thought we were forming.... <sigh> siliconinvestor.com However, downside from here, should we violate the bottom band of the daily Bollinger Band (which we're sitting on right now, should be no more than $77-78). You ask why? Good question... Take a gander at that bottom we hit back in the middle of Oct. Now use a straight edge to connect that bottom with the one we hit in the second week of January of this year. That's our channel. And it seems to coincide with the lower BB arm on the weekly Chart: siliconinvestor.com Violate that and we destroy the overall uptrend on the chart and this stock will likely lanquish until we see something of significant fundamental import that reverses the trend back to the upside. And in this market anything can happen... Caveat Emptor. PS: My condolences to those JDSU holders. If it doesn't reverse strongly on Monday to the upside, I think it will see $180 or even $165 or so. Since my wife holds it (despite all of my pleading to sell and buy it back at support), I can relate to your pain. However, if it helps, she sold off a long term position last month in another stock we had held long-term. It has doubled since she sold it.
