I got a hedge hog story. When I was in Germany our base had towers built way back like the 1300s. In WWII it was a recreation camp for nazi soldiers. Our barracks had been a house of carnal pleasure where nazi soldiers raped Jewish women before the women were killed. Lots of history and lots of weird things going on.

Now more background. I had 55 gallons of boiling water poured down my leg cooking it like a lobster.

Two days later I was cutting through the woods to the NCO club with 26 layers of gauze wrapped from hip to boot top and I was wearing tennies. No sock. Black as the hubs of hell and dang it all I stepped on a hedge hog. The little sucker WRAPPED around my ankle. I thought the hand of the devil had got me. Did a quick 1/4 mile and unwrapped the little dude when I got to some light.

Nazi, Annizai. One was German in the 1900s the other was American Indian way back. Both used the swastika as a symbol. Spooky.
