I worked on several things with Leisure for about a year back in 98/99. Stock went from about $1.40 to over $3.00 during that time frame. At the end of that involvement, I decided to create several Cuba deals myself along with the help of some of my partners. Reason - I didn't have the patience to wait for others to get their deals going. As you may be aware, shareholders are still waiting for Leisure to start their project in Jibacoa.

The Cuban Investment Letter is still being published (last issue was 48 pages) and I also put out the Cuban Daily News Digest (goes out by email each day). I also had a major involvement in the US/Cuba Business Summit held in Cancun in May of 1999 and also participated in the Havana Trade Fair in November of 1999 as I do each year.

The web site is undergoing a complete overhaul and will surface in about one month. It will include The Cuban Investment Letter, the Cuban Daily News Digest, Real Estate info and Investment Opportunities.

All of our group's involvement in Cuba is with non-disputed assets (and we check in great detail in both the US and in Cuba) and we structure our deals so that we don't initially have a large exposure in the country and all of our deals are put into a publicly-traded companies as soon as possible to give us liquidity. Very simple. We don't run the companies as there are others better suited for that - we structure the deal, finance it and take it public.
