Switching subjects from the technical aspects of wireless communication to the financial, it would be appreciated if knowledgeable persons would comment on the latest news that appeared at about 6:30 PM EST today. It was announced that MCOM had filed to sell, from time to time, up to $500,000,000 in common stock and warrants. It is my recollection that recently, within the last two months or so, MCOM filed to sell 5,000,000 shares of common, without indicating a specified amount of proposed proceeds from the sale. I would believe that the two filings are related but, as yet, have not tried to research the two SEC filings to confirm. Apparently , the presence of warrants as well as the unspecified time period may make calculations difficult, but it would be interesting to hear what more sophisticated persons than I am believe the possible scenarios to be, given the foregoing background. |
