I think that the long end of the yield curve (now) is trying to tell the world that the Federal Reserve Board is WRONG WRONG WRONG.

(Just like when the exact same thing happened in late 1994).

(Bond yields peaked way before the Fed stopped raising money market interest rates).

(For the first time ever (!) (it was widely reported), in roughly 75 years of Federal Reserve existence).

(My analysis (in 1994 - 1995) was : no Fed had EVER done anything as stupid as what our Fed was doing in 1994).

Maybe the Fed is trying for a repeat this year !
