It's kind of interesting to look at the group of 36 stocks over the last 4 weeks. Essentially, that period pretty well defines the group performance for January. In general, it was the month for the smaller caps and the "laggards" to shine compared to the large cap stocks. The group was up 16 percent, NVLS up 14 percent, AMAT up 2 percent, KLAC up 1 percent, and TER down 5 percent. 7 stocks were up over 50 percent.
