Although I share in your sympathy, I somehow take delight in their stupidity.

I/We attempt to enlighten them, but they fail to heed any advice.

Once in a great while one of them takes off and runs for a while before crashing, and the idiots confuse a bull market for the inability to separate the seeds from the chaff.
