David Viscott was a cruel and incompetent psychiatrist. And, the LA Times did an expose explaining how flawed he was (The David Viscott You Never Knew). I saw him for a session and never have overcome the damage. In the LA Times article you will see how cruel, grandiose, and messed up he was. Some of his friends think he committed suicide. And, had I been wiser, I would have filed a law suit against and won because I had a tape of the session. I also should have sent the tape to the state licensing board.
