You can register and brouse for free; seminars conducted for industry players, as well
Another industry conference developer/data resource is Microprocessor Report, Sebastopol, CA; they cover all types of processors, but have a strong following in the embedded industry; write reports designed for industry players, at very high prices, and hold conferences, mostly in Silicon Valley area.
If you call them, and tell them you are interested in their pubs, they may send you a few sample copies of their periodic reports; this is where I picked up my first industry analytic data.
I'll ask a contact who is, at this time, heavily involved in assessing the embedded market, specifically for ARMHY, to let me know how he is coming along on his project.

Good luck, you'll need it to convince UF(I think he worked in the semi industry too long<ggggg>).
