Thanks for the response. Here are a few excerpts from the article you referred to that attracted my attention:
1. "Also helping BEA's cause was the improving profit picture at the company. BEA had proven it could grow its top line over the years, and the third quarter proved to be no exception with sales up 56% over the previous year's results. What was different was the color of the bottom line, which for the first time in several quarters wasn't red. "
2. "It's also worth noting that 10 of the 12 analysts following the company rate the stock a "strong buy" today. (Although one of those brokerage firms covering BEA is Credit Suisse First Boston, which has the same parent company as Warburg Pincus.) "

INPR needs to improve its revenue picture to attract more coverage by analysts. One analyst covering INPR may not sit well with WS especially that his rating is a hold, and his estimates for future revenues until 2001 is still negative.
Dale Fuller needs to convince WS that the product mix and services that INPR has will result in revenue growth. He can do this by issuing press releases throughout this coming quarter to provide a better picture to the share holders of where revenues are coming from. The announcement regarding the deal with Cisco left us all guessing at the value of the deal. I for one thought that this deal should add at least $10 million to the bottom line - obviously it did not.
