Yes and no, no and yes. While it's true that only liars can pick bottoms and tops, any mechanical alert system scanning these pennies would have:

1. Noticed the build over 6 closes from .20 to .44
with 3 gaps in its wake.
2. Lit up the board on Friday just after lunch.

Personally, I would/am not scanning for stuff at this price, with so few trades and little volume, especially in a stock where the 4 up days of note were driven by a single broker.
