One thing I don't understand about COMS is the rationale for a sharp increase in the price of PALM after the IPO. Since you can buy 1.5 shares of PALM plus one share of COMS now for under $50, why would anyone pay more than $20 for PALM after the IPO (assuming that, after spinning off PALM, COMS is worth $15)?
