Jmac and all, I wrote a similar message on the "Buy" thread and got absolutely no response. In short it is this: Most newbies buying the Q stock have no idea what they bought. They do not know what CDMA is, they have no idea what Omnitracs is, they have no idea about HDR or any of the other product or patents of Qcom. They just hear about the stock rocketing and want in. They have no idea or thoughts of Q's future. The stock then starts to drop and they say: "see I told you, if you want a stock to drop just tell me to buy it".

What the Q needs to do is low level P.R. with SIMPLE T.V. commercials that explain the Q to the masses. They can use someone that people like and trust.....say, Tom Hanks or Dennis Miller(in a serious mood). The commercial about being conceived on my T.V. screen was way over anybody's head that didn't already know about the Q. You also had to be able to read fast. Down deep people want to know what they have invested in, and to tell you the truth most did not. People who truly know the Q story are not selling now they are cussing the houses for scaring off the new uninformed investors. Hell most analysts don't really know about the Q. When I first saw a Gateway commercial and how they would build and take care of your computer I told my wife thats a good company we should invest. Think about it the masses don't have a clue or as Voltaire would say there is Ambiguity.

Just a thought.
