<Maybe AMZN just layed off the underperformers. I don't think it means much.> My current thinking is this. Bezos knows Wall Street will loath Amazon's upcoming Power Buildout report. So Amazon is making a very visible, if only symbolic, effort to "control expenses." Tangentially, the move eliminates 2% of the deadwood. But that is not the primary motivation here. Bottom line: LOOK OUT BELOW! Heading for point north. Seeya.
