Kevin,
It will be a great loss to SI if the "funniest guy on SI" leaves. Your post brought up classic marketing 101 issues. Find out what your customers want and give it to them, rather than "build something and they will come". SI nailed it on the head on the first try, and they have gone on to violate one of the basic tenets of life "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I know that some of the great SI personalities are planning on going elsewhere after the Classic SI is laid to rest next week and this greatly reduces the value that SI has provided to me over these past 3 1/2 years.
