I apprieciate your post and I can certainly empathize with your friends situation. I too can be tempted into margin if the right circumstances arose. I feel fortunate that I did not buy a greater position in the specs during the past year. But I still own enough.
I spoke with my broker (who was hot on BNDR last year) recently and ask him again what he thought about the stock. He said that the players rallying the stock decided to cease at about the time you mentioned. This means that the stock will only now move on something other than hype and good marketing.

If your friend can sit tight through this summer, he should be in a more favorable position. Junior Exploration companies are too raw and sore from this recent hit. ONLY TIME, GOOD MANAGEMENT AND A GOOD PROPERTY WILL MAKE BAN PREVAIL!!
