To all: Some questions just occurred to me and I would appreciate your comments. If for arguments sake thqi has 20 million shares issued and there is a short position of 5 million shares(I made up this number) then theoretically and additional 5 million shares have been created. Do these additional shares vote? What happens in case there is a tender offer for the company? Do 25 million shares get tendered? or is there some law which obligates the shorts to repurchase their sold shares prior to the tender?
