Hi Jim,

I think that there are lots of hands in the pie at Medimmune and it will take a while to sort through their obligations and such. I was tempted to sell when the stock rebounded to 17 but my wife enjoys reading their literature, and (hopefully, not wishfull thinking) thinks they will do well.

From what I gathered, Medimmune was in short supply of their mainstay drug. They were procastinating forever in choosing the site for their manufacturing operation, and then surprise - they couln't meet their needs. I still think that they will be successful in spite of themselves. I am a little concerned with Hochmayer(?) who seems to be enrichening himself a little (hopefully not at the expense of us little guys).

Since you're in the DC area, do you follow other local biotechs - Life Technologies is doing well. North American Vaccines, Guilford have also done well. Magainin was founded by a local Rockvillian but he's located in Philly.

Regards,

Shep
