There is at least another 20-25% downside on the XAU before a bottom is in. Friday's Decline below Wednesday's Low made that clear. Thursday's Rally was merely a technical bounce, as I suspected.

I'm looking to load up before the last BOE Auction in March. Hopefully by then, there will be absolute despair on all gold threads and everyone will be talking about how Gold is the worst investment known to mankind and is Dead. That is when I'm buying big time. I hope they kill PDG and ABX some more. I'm going to buy these great companies( along with HGMCY) before the last BOE auction. I consider them to be great companies with good balance sheets. They are Very Smart Hedgers and the Class of the XAU..

I have never seen a Market so fundamentally bearish as this Gold Market at the present time. What makes this market in part so incredibly and tragically bearish is the daily claims of so many Gold Bugs and Perma Bears that the bottom is in or near an end and that a bull market is imminent. All it takes is one strong day to proclaim a bull market in gold has begun.

To profit on the long side in gold mining stocks, one has to know how to suffer and get in when the bears are howling. When Don Green and Tevi come on this board to insult the gold bugs, you know a bottom is almost in.
