Dear David Kelly: This present computer is my 3rd. The first was a 286 and home built. Never failed me. The second was a 200P by NEC failed out of the box company had to send a new CPU. The last, this one is a K one or whatever AMD called their first, 233mh. It also was home built and never had a problem but impossible to update it at any reasonable cost. I personally, have never built one but the home built ones I mention above were built by friends for me. So yes, I know you are right, but I just dont feel confident enough in my skills to do it myself even though I watched this one being built. JDN
