>As usual uniting factor is prosperity... Right on. Just take a look at Indonesia. With Suharto and the money flowing in for years the people got along just fine. When the boom got busted...you get mayhem...separation movements, Muslims and Christians killing each other, poor Malays killing rich Chinese, riots, etc etc. It's the same everywhere. When people live relatively well most people don't bother with stuff like that.
