Satyam chairman B Ramalinga Raju will receive a special award at Davos on Monday, January 31, 2000.In his invitation letter, Claude Smadja, managing director, World Economic Forum said, ?the forum, a non-for-profit foundation, is committed to improving the state of the world through fostering entrepreneurship in the global public interest. As such, we would like to honour those companies who will continue to be the principal engines of growth well into the 21st century.?In 1997, the forum had conferred the ?Global Growth Company? award on Satyam.
