Precisely, and a hardeyed view of book value begins with discounting production equipment assets heavily. As for the cash, let us not forget there is substantial debt with a senior claim on it.

The point isn't that HTCH is in balance sheet trouble ...they aren't (yet) and are not likely to be as long as gross margins remain reasonably positive. By the same token "book" value is not typically the same as the "liquidation" value of a company and provides at best a very squishy floor for a stock price.
