Nice homework on that "387 times earnings" comment by Abelson. I guess he just pulls up the nearest program for screening stocks and uses whatever PE is there without actually looking at the earnings releases. What a goon.

On another note, I tuned into the Motley Fool radio show today and they were discussing QCOM.. well sort of. None of the three voices admitted actually knowing enough about the company to form an opinion about QCOM but they were still talking about it. One of them said something that caught my attention and I wish I had tuned in earlier. The debate was whether investors should be buying QCOM on the basis of just the next five years of exceptional growth due to another technology in development that would be the next level of wireless after CDMA in five years. Now I don't know if he was talking theoretically or if they were actually talking about a real technology.

Did anyone else hear this program, and what the hell are they talking about? The cc said that nothing else was on the horizon for the next 10-15 years didn't they? My guess is that the Fools were speaking "what if another technology" and nothing more, but I would sure like to find out what was said if anyone heard the whole show.
