I will start this thread with a brief post describing the history of the Pristine ESP product.

The ESP product originated as an expert systems tool to help large manufacturing corporations efficiently monitor and control their processes. Implemented by large corporations such as DuPont, Honeywell, International Paper and many others, ESP provides the manufacturing operator the benefit of a computerized system capable of simultaneously monitoring hundreds and even thousands of processing variables and to generating alerts the moment any undesirable scenario began to develop.

Four years ago, I decided to try implementing this same expert systems technology to the process of daytrading stocks. It was a very long and tedious process, but after two years, I implemented a fully automated and successful system for daytrading stocks. Much of this has been discussed on the Daytrading Fundamentals and Trading for a Living threads.

In mid-1999, I met Oliver Velez and Greg Capra from Pristine.Com and we realized that the ESP technology would be a perfect solution to generate automated alerts for their trading strategies. As a result, Pristine ESP was born. The product development was mostly completed late last year and the product went into a beta test in November. After two months of 'working out the bugs', Pristine ESP was officially released to the public on 1/21/00.

So far, the feedback on Pristine ESP has been uniformly positive. I hope everyone takes the opportunity to download the Pristine ESP product and take it for a 'test drive'.
