Thats a tough prediction as with all stocks Qcom has to cool down some. I didn't think it would be lower or I would not have bought more @ 150 although I think (along with AG Edwards) we are fairly valued at or about $140. On radiowallstreet.com AGE gives this as his FV price. I believe they'll be upgrading the stock soon. If any news of anykind hits we are back in the upper 120's. I'd say the bounce off the 105 and some change was conviencing on Friday with the tanking of the market QCOM actually showed strength toward the end of the day and wanted to rally up to 114 (noticable resistance on the intraday). The market will be led by interest pressures until Wed 2:15 then a relief rally could be in order. If I wanted to buy QCOM (I own plenty), I'd set a price Sunday night, enter it it and say--if it hits this price I'm content, if it goes lower average into it. This stock is a gurilla in the MSFT since in 4-5 yrs.. NO DOUBT about it. The media missed it and will continue to miss it---its pervasive technology and will be everywhere in wireless soon. Peter Lynch says just look around. I'm an owner of 2 FM radio stations in Texas. Switch between AM and FM. CDMA is the equivilant of FM to the wireless world in Quality and thus giving data clean uninterupted capacity.
CDMA cancels noise giving clean digital. I'm endorsing Sprint PCS in ads for the local Sprint PCS and plugging CDMA in the ads...this is the only game in town for quality. AM is DEAD as far as quality is concerned. TDMA is dead as far as clean, clear data. My Humble opinion!
I'm headed to San Diego to congratulate Dr. Jacobs on his world class standard.
Will anyone else from the board be there?
