hio - I don't think that was a dumb comment. Many people confuse direct delivery and configure-to-order with internet sales - the two are not the same. DELL does not sell a majority of its systems over the net... For CPQ to get caught in measurement of percent web sales when there is no reason to think that has anything to do with making money would be a mistake. This statement is exactly right IMO. Note that this is different than saying 40% will be delivered directly or other statements related to how the product gets to the customer once it is ordered.
