Few things would be worse than putting up 50 or 60 k, and losing 40 grand, then finally getting good at trading only to find.....you now need protection and can't trade like you did before.

I'm not sure $25,000 isn't a real bad idea....it might keep the potential for destruction of small guys to a minimum. Sadly, these small accounts often fall prey to the thieves of trading.

4X margin..that's been around for a while in some firms......10x at one that I heard of.......can't,don't and won't remember the name.
