Dacoola, Hell, I am in for the ride....let the festivities begin.
Lol! I agree with your cautioning statements and I will be the first to admit that I've done next to zero DD before I bought. However, the first thing that struck me was that this wasn't just a case of some no-name BB trying to ticker spam off of HP. HP is actually quoted and they specifically mention EISQ and their technology! If this was not approved, you can bet that HP would've been ALL over this Friday as it was released Thursday. Nope, this is a real deal except , that nothing is signed from what I can gather. "...The companies are completing an agreement..."
Still can't help it, I'm a little stoked!<gg>
Dacoola, you also stated: "If H/P is committing 4,000 people, it is amazing that they haven't announced it to their shareholders."
Re-read the PR. HP has been researching and deploying smart card technology for several years, and has a facility of about 4000 employees working specifically on smart cards in Grenoble, France. But Electronic Identification brings more to the table, said Donnie Foster, HP general manager of e-solutions for the Americas.
See? HP has been working on this for years but they like EISQ's technology better than their own...
