z: Buy-in is good. All implementation is affected by so many different factors that any mgt theory is just that - A THEORY.

I've been to most of the cutting-edge mgt training seminars, and I can tell you, implementing the theory is always different than being in the class.

Trust between mgt and staff is of utmost importance. All the theories go out the window when the staff feels that there is a class system or that they aren't being treated fairly. I'm not clear on the option plans for the clerk level employees, do you know anything about this?

In addition, there is always the "union/non-union" question, as well as the labor-code requirements of each individual state. I know this seems to be getting off the subject of TSIG, but this is the reality of business that nobody talks about on the threads, isn't it? :0)
