The value of QCOM shares has indeed slumped lately, partially due to the slump comments but also due to the general market. Your comments, however, are unduly harsh:

regard to his supporting shareholders.

As a shareholder, I would **much** prefer to be told the truth in advance rather than have the rug pulled from under me much later, when the slump shows up on the bottom line. To be told later, everyone, shareholders and analysts, would be screaming how they had been deceived. Confidence in QCOM management would go down the tube and QCOM would have the same problem CPQ now has: trying to rebuild confidence.

Give me management integrity over trying to sweep things under the rug any day.
