Before I give you a blow by blow of some very interesting
developments, none of us "know" for fact that J&J is the
potential suitor of SterOx, it could be 3M, Baxter, Olympus,
Steris, or a number of medical related companies, remember
Cyclopss has said in print that they are in discussions with
more than one party. It would be a perfect product for J&J,
but until it happens we won't know.
What I do know is that I went on the bid for 10,000 shares at
3/4 to see if I would get hit by a seller. This was after
7,700 shares traded at 3/4. I didn't see a share, up'd my
bid to .81, then .84, then .90. Everytime I lifted my bid,
someone else "jumped" my bid until I bought stock at 31/32's.
The firm who inititated the selling yesterday was on the bid
for the better part of the day today. Could it be, as I suspect,
that yesterday's seller was a short seller ! Another thing
you must know is that a bona fide market maker in any NASDAQ
stock can and do short stocks on "downticks." I do suspect
that Marlin's E-Mail was part of this short strategy. It only
worked for a brief time and then yours truly and others came
to buy some very cheap stock. Marlin, think about it, would a
500,000 share seller advertise the fact he is about to unload
stock, I don't think so unless the guy is an ego maniac, and a
very stupid one at that.
Now there has only been a few of us who know and support OZON,
but gentlemen that is about to change, you will see shortly. I
also believe there is a short of significant numbers still out
there, and I think he is getting nervous. Have you ever been in
a stock that has a "short squeeze," it could happen here even though
we don't need it for this stock to appreciate.
My only regret today is that I wasn't more aggressive on the buy
side instead of just being on the bid.
I hope the company brings us all up-to-date on their R&D on
several fronts - Ozone gas sterilizer and the DEDPM monomer.
I also noticed that J&J's Cordis division signed a deal with
Nitromed for a stent ( used in post angioplasty surgery ) coated
with nitrous oxide. Cyclopss is one of the biggest producers
of medical nitrous oxide. Go to the web site www.cyclopss.com
