Good evening Tommy,

I don't believe that I have chatted with you previously though I have heard your name mentioned often by OJ -- and never in vain!

I have a question for you regarding the various overall market signals that your indicators generate. I am not familiar with the specific names -- though I understand that 3 of the 4 indicators that you follow have given sell signals at this point.

JXM suggested that you would most likely be able to help answer my question.

Is there a historical record, over past 10 years or so, of the specific entry and exit levels based on the spx and/or some other market indices as signals were generated. I am interested in seeing how much profit/loss is generated by those signals over time--assuming that every signal were followed as soon as it was generated. A corollary to the same question is the extent of profit or loss that has been generated over the past 10 years when the signal is generated after a decline has already been well under way --as is the case with the present decline.

Gerald Appel published some statistical information, on the same lines, relating to his Time-Trend system -- an intermediate timing tool -- some years ago which was quite impressive. I was curious as to whether you had similar information to share.
