How much of China & GSM is political?

Infrastructure vendors like ERCY are in deep and provide vender financing for buildout. ERCY's relationship with China is one major reason Q sold it's Infra business to ERCY cheap in hopes to help penetrate CDMA. Another issue is no CDMA interoperabilty with existing GSM networks that are first to market with coverage. Unicom will represent a virtually nationwide footprint buildout for CDMA. Commerce in general and US exports to China have been less than steller in recent years. My bet is developments with the WTO and improvement in trading status are the breakthrough for CDMA. It is an issue of politics and relationships not the issue of the best technology. This is changing
