Keith's from Brooklyn - he was lead singer of (the former) "LIFE OF AGONY" Band & IS the O-riginal Voice of NY Hardcore! (well, the NEW NY Hardcore that is, we're not talking about influences such as Lou Reed in early Velvet Underground etc. here LOL).
Keith's really maturing nicely as An Artist as his music goes forward... He's been on tour in Europe just since August with this new one "Died Laughing" by Keith Caputo ..... and he's won "Album of the Year" and "Best Artist" awards for '99 over there already. (he seems to have POPPED, and it's no wonder ...)
This "Died Laughing" CD hasn't been released in the USA yet, but you should start hearing his stuff (maybe they'll start with "Razzberry Mockery" or maybe "Brandy Duval" or "Manhattan" or "Tangerine") on the radio around Valentines Day) and the CD will be in the stores in springtime. It's out in Europe now, getting big, and can be found on EBAY and some other music sites like CDnow or thru Amazon or Yahoo etc.
Lemmetellya, Keith's voice, poetry, style, charismatic personality & performance is DYNAMITE! He's reminiscent of a Young Jim Morrison - sexy and snaky like Jim was; but much more of a gentleman! Like Jim, but in his OWN way, Keith has a way of getting himself all tangled up in the microphone cord ... YEAH !
