Service Providers targeting the growing SMB market can dramatically reduce costs and more effectively manage services with Motorola's Vanguard Instant Access solutions. Specifically, the new Vanguard IA 2130 features Activator, an auto-sensing service management software that enables service providers to remotely automate, activate, and manage large scale SDSL router installations for a fraction of the effort and cost of current xDSL routers.
"SMBs have internetworking needs similar to those of large corporations, but often do not have the technical resources or expertise to install and manage xDSL networks," said Craig DeMunbrun, vice president of Motorola's small and medium business unit within the Multiservice Networks Division. "Motorola is committed to offering service providers the quality solutions they need to service the fast-growing SMB market."
SMBs can fell confident that the Vanguard IA 2130 will dovetail directly into their existing network - the product provides seamless back office integration.
This is the second product in Motorola's family of plug-and-play access devices developed especially for the growing SMB market. According to a Yankee Group research, 54% of SMBs believe "Internet Access" is the most important technology in achieving their company goals. By providing simple, affordable access solutions, Motorola aims to help SMBs, through service providers, achieve their goals.
