Gary, does anybody really care what brand of FLASH is in their hand held device? I could really care less, from a consumer's point of view. I would think job one is to get design wins, not consumer visibility wrt FLASH.

As far as I know, Intel's flash business is booming. To wit, recently un-mothballed Fab 5 to produce .25um FLASH product.

I admit, maybe I'm missing your point, due to ignorance. FLASH marketing issues are most assuredly outside my area of expertise.
