I would never argue that Halpin is anything but a fool but I suspect he will be quickly gone when Slim takes over though he will probably get millions.
MSFT selling for a $2 premium? Hardly but certainly for a $50 premium if anyone has 750B lying around. Without Slim's buying, CPU is a $5 stock. $14 is ancient history. Margins in the computer retailing business has seriously declined since $14. Maybe the BOD just doesn't see the possibility of a real turnaround and are just facing the facts. I'am trying to just accept that it was a bad investment. I don't like $10 but it beats 5 bucks.
