...too many crooked possibilities for my weary mind...but, I'd wondered at the AM, whether Janssen had filled the entire last tranch of 2.8M.

At the Pete Rose "gala", he had asked me whether I was interested in some...funny. Anyway, if the entire placement didn't fill, I guess he could have sold any remainder subsequent to the AM, and the cap on the stock is someone still selling old paper for his new stuff. The $2-2.50 range being pre-determined by the buyer of the "old" paper.

What I'm missing is whether the last tranch was fully subscribed.

The only thing (yeah right, only) that don't jibe, from what I can see, is that the trade logs show a pretty healthy quantity of big blocks changing hands. Maybe not enough to pay for the entire 2.8M @ $1.50, but surely enough to cover any remainder. So when does the $2-2.50 range go away? Wither the price...or, will the price wither...

...I realize why I stick this one out...it's the mystery...the puzzle...the challenge of figuring it out. "Normal" stocks, p/e's, revenues, ad dollars, inventories...putting those together pales in comparison to figuring out the shenanigans here...:o)
