Thanks for the followup post. It is possible that Williams Communication Group has that particular route covered with a FO cable on a different right of way.

Your title company friend is correct in that there needs to be some separation of the high-pressure gas line from other services. However, Williams is most certainly running fiber optics strands on the same rights-of-way that they use for natural gas lines. Perhaps not in a joint trench, as is often the case in the last mile, where one trench will often serve for water, sewer, telco, and electrical feed. (All with suitable Code-specified separations.)

Re: ....in frount of my house, some Williams company is going to lay cable but no gas line.....
